Below are worship resources to sustain and strengthen our faith during this time when our care for all of God's people calls us to practice social distance and to connect in new ways. Worship in person at Grace has been canceled in response to the "shelter in place" order that was issued to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Click on the pictures below to access the video content. Share it with family and friends. We will stream live from Grace next Sunday, May 10, Mother's Day.

Thank you in advance for sharing your gifts, tithes, and offerings with Grace Community Christian Church if you are in a position to give financially. Our faithful and steadfast stewardship will enable us to continue to share the "Good News" of the gospel of Jesus Christ as we shelter in place.

You may give online below, mail in a check, or drop off your offering to the church office on Mondays at 6:30pm.

Offering prayer
We do give you our thanks, God of love, for the many ways in which we are able to build up our hearts through actions which are glad and generous! Thank you for each gift which is offered, and for each one seeking to grow in generosity. Strengthen this congregation through these givers and these gifts, that together we might share Good News with a fear-filled world. Amen.

Opening Prayer
God of life and hope, wrap us with the
familiar images of Psalm 23! Help us turn to you for the care and assurance we need. Faced with so many challenges, we come eagerly to stand before you,
yearning for your presence. When we feel overwhelmed and anxious, calm us with your presence. Remind us in this hour that you fill our cup. Let it overflow! Be our shepherd, loving God, and we will not want. Amen.

O Breathing Life

(inspired by the Lord's Prayer)

O Breathing Life, your Name shines everywhere! Release a space to plant your Presence here. Imagine your possibilities now. Embody your desire in every light and form. Grow through us this moment’s bread and wisdom.
Untie the knots of failure binding us,
as we release the strands we hold of others’ faults. Help us not forget our Source, yet free us from not being in the Present. From you arises every Vision,
Power and Song from gathering to gathering. May our future actions grow from here! Amen.
Call to Prayer - 10 minutes daily

Love of Christ Christian Center has invited us to join them in pausing to pray for 10 minutes everyday from 12 noon to 12:10pm. You are welcome to use the "Quarantine Prayer Checklist" above as a guide or pray in your own way.
Scripture - John 10:1-10
10  “Very truly I tell you Pharisees, anyone who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber.  The one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep.  The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice.  But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice.”  Jesus used this figure of speech, but the Pharisees did not understand what he was telling them. Therefore Jesus said again,
“Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep.  All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them.  I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. [ a ]  They will come in and go out, and find pasture.  10  The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
