Support The Metropolitan Orchestra
Donations Over $2 Are Tax Deductible
Hi TMO
June 30 is less than 2 weeks away, so if you're thinking of making a tax deductible donation for this financial year, you have only 13 days to go.
We hope that you will consider supporting our 2024 fundraiser which will help our orchestra continue the enormous amount of work we do for our musicians and all lovers of music.
Our mission has always been to inspire a love and enjoyment of classical and orchestral music in a wide range of audiences through accessible, first-class concert performances. We are also dedicated to providing professional performance and educational opportunities to outstanding Australian musicians, composers and soloists. This year we have broken up our fundraiser so that you can donate directly to your area of preference. These are:
Core Activities: Supporting TMO's core activities which include our mainstage performances (Met Concert Series), are key to the organisation building a solid bedrock which allows us to effectively continue doing what we do best. After 16 years, TMO has proven we are not just your average orchestra. We're here to stay.

Children & Family Concerts: Cushion Concerts are fun, engaging and interactive performances delivered in a warm, kid-friendly environment. They are both entertaining and educational, giving all audience members up-close exposure to the instruments of the orchestra in a relaxed setting designed to inspire a lifelong love of music and live performance.

New Works: Supporting the creation of new Australian works across all concert formats is vital to sustaining a strong and viable music industry. Each year TMO commission a number of world premieres. These may include new works for mainstage performances featuring a full symphony orchestra, new works for smaller ensembles featured as part of TMO's chamber music festival, plus new work showcased in TMO's cushion concert series.

TMO Junior Development Programs: TMO Junior offers a range of educational and performance opportunities for young musicians of all standards. These build confidence and skill to inspire musical ambitions. This is vital to establishing our future musical landscape.
