Your Guide to Give Miami Day 📒

For 12 years, Miamians have shown their overwhelming generosity and care for this place we call home on Give Miami Day, donating millions of dollars to the thousands of nonprofits addressing our community's needs every day.

On November 21, 2024, we, as a community, have the opportunity to give that love back to our nonprofits and help build a thriving Greater Miami, together. Give Miami Day is by and for all of us, and we want to see more members of our community get involved than ever before!

Below, you'll find the essential information on how you and your neighbors, families, friends, clients, and colleagues -- our Miami community -- can participate. We hope you'll get involved and give.

How do I give on Give Miami Day?

From the start of our Early Giving period at midnight on Sunday, Nov. 17 until 11:59 p.m. on Give Miami Day (Thursday, Nov. 21), every Miamian is invited to visit GiveMiamiDay.org and make a minimum $25.00 donation or more to support the cause(s) or nonprofit(s) they care about.

Gifts are fully tax-deductible and can be made by:

• Credit card (VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express)
• PayPal
• Venmo
• Google Pay
• Donor Advised (DAF) or Other Account:
• Gift commitments can be made from a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) at The Miami Foundation; from a DAF at another provider; from an IRA to take advantage of your Qualified Charitable Distribution; from a Trust or other account which requires a relationship manager to process.
• Bank account (for donations of at least $50.00)
• Giving Card

Not sure who to give to?

Browse through all 1,300+ participating organizations on our GiveMiamiDay.org giving platform, where you can search and filter by cause, location, or the population they serve. Alternatively, you can spread the love by donating to an Issue Area bonus pool. Those funds are divided evenly among all participating organizations that address that particular Issue Area.

Why give on Give Miami Day?

1. When you give on Give Miami Day, the nonprofits you support receive their gifts as flexible dollars. This means that the money can be used in whatever way is most helpful to the organization, whether that's to support programming and services, or pay staff or rent, for example. 2. Your donations go further on Give Miami Day thanks to matches and prizes made possible by our sponsors.

While Early Giving officially kicks off at midnight on Sunday, Nov. 17, Give Miami Day is a month-long celebration at The Miami Foundation. We will be out in community all month spreading the word about Give Miami Day to get everyone involved.
