Help Us Meet Our Goal of 50 Years, 50 Volunteers

We are so close to meeting our goal! 45 amazing members have already signed up to volunteer with the Chamber staff this Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday. But we are shooting for 50 volunteers in celebration of our 50 years serving the Howard County business community.

We are working with several of our non-profit members including the ARC of Howard County and GlenMar United Methodist Church. Our Chamber team and volunteer members will be working from 10AM - 2PM at sites throughout the county.

Are you one of the five people we still need to join us? We would love to have you! All you need to do is  register here
Opioids, Employment & Business

We are just over a week away from our first member lunch of 2019, where a panel of experts and business owners will tackle the topic of Opioids, Employment & Business. Join us for this important discussion of how substance abuse is impacting the business community, and how businesses can be part of the solution.

Guide to Your Elected Officials

The 2019 Legislative Session is underway in Annapolis, but we work year round to keep you informed, and advocate on your behalf. Chamber President Leonardo McClarty and our Legislative Affairs Committee will be in Annapolis this coming week, but we know many of our members, won't be able to make it to our state capital in person.

You don't have to get to Annapolis to be able to speak with your legislators, but it can be hard to know where to start. That's where we come in! Below you'll find a link to documents listing all your elected officials and the ways to contact them. We've also included a link to a map of downtown Annapolis if you are able to join us as we testify for or against legislation and spend time advocating on behalf of our business community with legislators.
