CONSULT THE
MIDLIFE MIDWIFE™
|

Since I found you, you have birthed within me new ideas, wonderful emotions (mostly happiness) and awe. I am not only in mid-life but my only child is graduating from HS and I have lost my business. I still don't know what the next chapter will be and most of the time I am afraid. You have been the calm in my storm so often and I love you for that.
- Judy, FL
Are you looking for meaning, moxie, magic & majesty in midlife?
Consult The Midlife Midwife™
The transition from Maiden and Mother to Queen and Empress can be a difficult one, fraught with hard lessons and lots of loss. It takes great determination and courage to confront and embrace the changes brought about by the midlife passage.
It can be really helpful during this confusing time to have the inspiration, advice and encouragement of a counselor/coach/mentor - someone who has been there and done that and is ready to help you do the same.
Queen Mama Donna offers upbeat, practical and ceremonial guidance for individual women and groups who want to enjoy the fruits of an enriching, influential, purposeful, passionate, and powerful maturity.

Thanks so much for taking the time to respond to The Queen's Chronicles. Please keep your comments coming. And do feel free to make suggestions about content you would like to see. Or anything else, for that matter. It is a joy to connect with you.
Letters In Response to the AUGUST 2017 Issue:
I'm getting ready to do a Crowning/70th Birthday Celebration and am using many many of the ideas from your book The Queen of Myself.
I am so excited. I'm also including an installation of The Red Sand Project as a way to step into the Queen - making a difference and finding true purpose.
redsandproject.org . I thought I would do the Crowning Ceremony, then go to the site for the Red Sand Installation, then back to the venue for the Birthday Celebration. So excited and inspired by all that you do and share.
I love your newsletter and I resonated with so much of your newsletter comments: The idea of giving up hope is what makes us get old. So true. I, too, gave up college and career for marriage, children, etc. - a child born in 1947 - was the way it was. Crone ... ugh .. I love the Queen Archetype .. will hold onto this for a long time. Even though your mother is much older than me, I seem to have many of her concerns that have trickled down through the matriarchy of time apparently. Worry: Debilitated, No Enthusiasm, Aging Body. You truly hold the Queen Archetype and your energy and encouragement re-inspired me also. I do love Empress instead of Crone too - that is BRILLIANT. I just wanted to thank you for all you do! P.S: I have your book, love your book, using your book to create my Queen Crowning Ceremony in late October!!!! Best to you. Hail!
Thank you.
- Marilyn, FL
I am with you, Donna MA Madonna! "purify the tainted air that is choking the entire world so that we may be inspired (inspire means "to breathe in") by a fresh spirit of optimism and determined positive action. I do not want to fight fire with fire, but rather surround it with a stronger, saner, sustainable energy of reverence for life."
- Camille, CA
Thank you so much for your August column on aging. Some of us are slow learners and need to get quite old before we have our voice, again, that's me. I am learning so much more in my 80's than ever before in my life. I am part of a women's circle and I often tell the younger ones that some of us need more time to learn certain things, so don't be discouraged if you haven't figured some things out yet, keep going. Namaste
- Elayne, NJ
Belated Birthday wishes to you of continued wisdom sharing,of Creative crowd gatherings, of story telling and Disseminating celebrations origins. Always love to read your blog. Very inspiring. Cheers,
- Caterine, RI
Well, please know, dear soul, I, too, am older. Now 72. I do, however, tell one and all, that "I am working on immortality, thus far, the evidence is: I am succeeding." You do the same.
- Miki, Ontario, Canada
Thank you for a rich issue! I especially loved your candid sharing about your mother and how her life impacts yours. And I love the blurbs and memes of elder women! I too plan to live to 100-2050, I'll be there. love,
- Vajra Ma, OR
I love your MAMA DONNANESS. You inspire always!!!!

And we are glad to so. It is a joy and a privilege to share in the fortune of another woman. I recently heard Oprah say the saddest thing ever - "The hardest thing about being successful is having someone to be glad for you."
It takes a centered and confident Queen to break that pattern. There are 60 million thrones out there. One for each of us. There is plenty of purpose, passion and power for us all. May we use it well!
