Volunteers are needed for the annual High Line Canal Cleanup , an event to clear trash from the beloved 11-mile stretch of canal that runs through our community.

The event will take place from
8 a.m. to noon on Saturday,
March 21.

The goal for the cleanup is to reduce the amount of trash from the canal that enters Sand and Toll Gate Creeks in Aurora. It's also a great opportunity to learn about how litter effects our environment and the importance of protecting and caring for our waterways by preventing pollution.

Our High Line Canal needs us and we need you! Ready to be a part of something special? Register through Aurora's Volunteer Portal or through hcr@auroragov.org

Registered volunteer check-in will take place at 8 a.m. at the Community College of Aurora on event day.

If you are affiliated with scouting, youth or church groups that are looking for ways to make a difference in their community this is a perfect opportunity!
