I've had a lovely response so far to this exciting event. Below are photographs of all the beautiful Mieko Mintz pieces we have brought in for this show, which will last seven more days - through next weekend. Wildflowers will offer a 15% discount on all these jackets and vests as well as a free Mieko kantha face mask with each purchase.

As you can tell, I am passionate about Mieko. Her work is extraordinary. And here is something so interesting, something she shared with me recently. “This Kantha cloth also has a magical purpose and is often displayed at Indian shrines or tied to trees. It is believed to symbolize prayers and ward off the “evil eye”. Traditionally, Kantha are supposed to keep their wearers safe from harm and aid in obtaining happiness and prosperity, all of which Mieko wishes for you.”
