WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 24

Guthrie Green | Wednesday, August 24 | 7 p.m.

We're diving in to the festival weekend with a special kick-off Movie in the Park at Guthrie Green! Enjoy a free showing of the film “Coming 2 America” (2021), the sequel to the ‘80s classic “Coming to America.”

Before the show, enjoy a concert by Freak Juice featuring Tori Ruffin and Charlie Redd! Tori is the guitarist in the band Sexual Chocolate featured in both of the Coming to America movies. Plus, local comedian Sondra Slade will host a "mom and dad joke-off" with audience members. The best joke will win a free Blue Whale Comedy t-shirt, tickets to the festival, or even tickets to Bill Burr at the BOK Center!

Pre-show activities will begin at 7 p.m., and the movie will start at 8 p.m.

LowDown | Thursday, August 25 | 7 p.m.

Originally from Norway, Daniel made his US late-night debut on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" and has since appeared on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" and recurs on Comedy Central's "This Week at the Comedy Cellar." Daniel has found international success, and he will kick off Blue Whale Comedy Festival on Thursday, August 25 at LowDown. Get your tickets now!

Meet BWCF 2022 headliner, Rory Scovel! You may have seen Rory in his Netflix special "Rory Scovel Tries Stand-Up for the First Time" and "I Feel Pretty" where he costarred with Amy Schumer. His stand-up has been featured on Comedy Central, CONAN, and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Rory will be headlining on Friday, August 26 at Cain's Ballroom, and you can buy your tickets tickets now!
