2018 has been a big year, seeing new Meridian implementations now live with SAWater, Lochard Energy and Cristal Mining. Meridian 2018 upgrades are now complete with NRG and New Zealand Aluminium Smelters. We also have an upgrade in progress with Aurizon and several under test, including Qenos, Dyno Nobel, University of Melbourne and Outotec.
With Meridian already in place to manage engineering drawings at Sydney Water, we are nearing completion of an additional vault to manage 1.7 million Sewer Service Diagrams (SSDs). As Australia's largest water and wastewater provider, other ongoing projects with Sydney Water include Meridian integrations for the Customer Experience Project (CxP), as well as an external portal for contractors.
SAWater provides water and wastewater services to a population of approximately 1.5 million people across South Australia. A shared technology planning and roadmap session for the coming year included a presentation from Graham Rix (pictured), Senior Manager IT (CIO).
Our offices will be closed with all staff on leave between Friday 21 December (last day) and Monday 07 January (first day back). During this period we will respond to high priority issues (outages) via our 1300 phone number and our support email address.
The transition from BlueCielo to Accruent now seems to be complete. The Accruent website now replaces the BlueCielo website for information on Meridian. Although, for product information, you'll find the Onset website may provide a better resource.
Robert Fontein (left), our Accruent partner manager, joined us in Australia to visit several customers, including United Energy, Sydney Water and Queensland Rail.
Learn why you will need strong EIM, EDM and Drawings Management.
The changes that the 2020s will bring portend an increasing demand for effective Engineering Document Management (EDM) and Drawing Management, primarily due to the increasing volume of new engineering documents and drawings in the world of the future.
Is your current infrastructure ready to handle the changes? If your utility is just "making do" with disconnected, antiquated systems not specifically designed for EDM and drawings management, you likely will have an inadequate foundation for the 2020s.
