You ~ a small-scale developer?
Looking for that perfect downtown location…loads of traffic, lots of pedestrian traffic, great visibility, and close to everything? Consider buying, because it’s so much smarter to own your own building than to lease!
You’re on your familiar walk to your favorite coffee shop, and every time you pass that one empty building, you think to yourself, “Why is this still vacant? It has so much potential.” When you have one of those “somebody should..." moments, maybe that somebody could be you! You may be tripping —literally—over an opportunity with potential benefits for both your community and your business portfolio.
Salisbury has wonderful opportunities for YOU to develop an existing building that might better match the needs of today’s small businesses and/or the trend for live/work properties.
Read more in Realtor The Magazine about ‘
How to Become a Small-Scale Developer
”. Investing in small-scale property brings intangible yet boundless benefits to your portfolio and the neighboring properties. These buildings are usually walkable and near other businesses that appeal to tenants, both alluring luxuries. The more we do this, the more demand there will be for it! Be the change...for you, your business, and the community!

As a business professional, you know you should be operating from a strategic plan that includes an encompassing vision, a path to achieving your vision and the milestones you need to hit along the away. By breaking your major goal into manageable pieces, you'll see progress and gain momentum to propel you forward.
But any small business owner bursting with ideas and overwhelmed by projects may need help staying focused. Email, Facebook, the phone — can sidetrack anyone, leaving you scattered and unfocused.
If you find yourself bouncing from task to task, and becoming more frazzled, consider trying a new tack to minimize distraction and establish direction.
