16th Street Grand Opening – October 4 | 11 AM

This summer we celebrated the first milestone of the 16th Street revitalization, but now every block is fully complete and open! Join the all-day Grand Opening celebration on Saturday, October 4 starting at 11 AM with live music, a ribbon-cutting “Golden Door” ceremony, the REI Scavenger Hunt, business specials, and more. After 43 years, 16th Street is transformed and ready for new memories—don’t miss Denver’s mile-long party!

Halloween Events Header

Tennyson Fall Fest

Sat, Oct 18, 10 AM - 6 PM, Tennyson Street between 41st and 43rd

The annual Tennyson Street Fall Fest is a celebration of community in NW Denver's Berkeley neighborhood. Join the fun for all ages along Tennyson Street between 41st and 43rd Streets, featuring a variety of activities!


Impacts: Tennyson Street will be closed from W 41 Street to W 43rd Street on Saturday, October 18, from 5 AM to 11:30 PM.


Hilltop Halloween Festival 

Sun, Oct 19, 2 PM - 5 PM, Robinson Park

The Hilltop Neighborhood community will celebrate the Halloween season with games, activities, face painting, pumpkin painting, food trucks and more at Robinson Park.


Impacts: Event is contained within the park.


Broadway Halloween Parade

Sat, Oct 25, 6 PM- 8 PM, 500 N Broadway

The annual Broadway Halloween Parade returns with spooky floats, funky bands, and a hearse procession. Dress up and join the fun in this spooktacular Broadway tradition!


Impacts: Broadway between 5th Ave and Alameda, and 1st Ave between Lincoln and Broadway will be closed, with meter parking unavailable from Saturday, October 25 at 12 PM until 10 PM after event cleanup is complete.


Dia de los Muertos at Civic Center

Sat, Oct 25, 2 PM - 9 PM, Civic Center Park

The Denver Botanic Gardens will present Día de los Muertos at Civic Center, a cultural event that honors ancestors and loved ones who have passed. The celebration highlights traditions of remembrance and provides space for the community to reflect on death as a shared human experience.


Impacts: Event is contained within the park.


Highland HUNIween Parade

Sat, Oct 25, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM, Highland Gateway Park

Highland United Neighbors, Inc. (HUNI) will continue its annual tradition in northwest Denver with a community parade. Families are invited to walk the route in costume, while spectators can watch along the way. The event concludes with safely packaged treats for children. Please note that dogs are not permitted along the route.


Impacts: 32nd Ave at Zuni Street will be closed on from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM on Saturday, October 25.
