Learning and participation for all…where UDL, AT, and AAC collide

A Message From Alexander Hauerslev Jensen

At Google, we believe that technology should be accessible, intuitive, and empowering for everyone. As part of our ongoing commitment to accessibility, we collaborate with people with disabilities to design, develop, and improve accessible technology that meets diverse needs.

As the Google Accessibility Program Manager for External Engagement in North America, I work with partners, advocates, and organizations—like Open Access—to ensure that accessibility is not just an afterthought but a fundamental part of innovation.

Through our Products for All team, we’re dedicated to integrating and scaling accessibility across Google, ensuring that our products empower users of all abilities. From screen readers and voice commands to AI-driven assistive tools, we’re focused on breaking down barriers and enhancing digital experiences for everyone.

Open Access has been selected to be part of our Google Accessibility Ambassador Program, a collaborative group committed to learning about and providing valuable feedback on Google’s accessibility features. The insights and experiences shared by ambassadors help shape the future of inclusive technology, making Google’s products more usable for all.
