During this Thanksgiving season, the Valero Benicia Refinery is proud to support community organizations and their critical work. The impact of their efforts cannot be understated during the COVID-19 pandemic and the enormous challenges it presents to their operations.
Valero presented a $2,500 check to Meals on Wheels - Diablo Region to support their efforts to address a 40% increase in need from seniors in the community since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Additionally, Valero donated to the Benicia Community Action Council's Thanksgiving Meal Project. This community dinner is held every year and seeks to brighten the lives of the less fortunate and bring the community together.
