TO OPEN DOOR QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER

Find out what is happening with our program, students and teachers.

2022 has started off with record-breaker enrollment. Total enrollment between Session 1 & 2 was 145 students! We added HSE classes in English.

We have added two more new teachers: Jennifer Wojniak (teaching Grammar 1 in evenings) and Anastasia Ware (teaching HSE Science in English). We also have a new Volunteer Coordinator, Sann Dayson. We have had several new volunteers step up to help at registration, conversation partners and with our Work Day. Thank you to all our new members for joining our team.

With so many new students, Open Door depleted all our student materials. To resolve this problem, we scheduled a Work Day. We had over 14 student and community volunteers come help us on Work Day. With so much help, we were able to restock our student materials and get a large number of other projects completed. Thank you to all our volunteers!

May 23 will be our next registration, and our next Work Day will be May 25. Thank you to everyone for helping make our program be the success that it is.
