Our December Potluck was so much fun. On top of fun family activity of creating human boxes, we heard from student Isabel Gallegos and conversation partner Barbara Schroeder. .
Our HSE Graduation was held on January 8th. Two students, Karla and Jose shared their story. Our guest speaker, Ana Nieto also shared her story, charging students to continue their education. See news article that was written by Longmont Leader.
Two new teachers: Pam Graves joined ESL staff, working with advance writing. She did her practice from FRCC and decided to join our staff. Israel Avila joined HSE staff, teaching Spanish math on Saturday evenings. Israel was one of our graduates in 2017 and has served as a volunteer in many areas. Now he is part of our staff. Welcome aboard Israel and Pam!
