Changed your mind about taking a course? Just email the OLLI office at [email protected] with "DROP" in the subject line and include your name and the title of the course(s). We will free up that space so someone else can add it.

Spring Course Proposal Period week two! Spring term runs April 3rd to June 9th. That gives you lots of time to prepare for teaching your course to the OLLI membership. Instructors don't have to be an OLLI member or be formally educated in your topic. Just be passionate and well informed. Your course can be from two to ten classes of 60 to 120 minute sessions. Courses are offered online or in-person. You'll receive support as you get to know OLLI and learn new technology. Meteorology? Hands-on art? Constitutional topics? Bring your interest to the OLLI catalog. The course proposal form is live through the month of December. Click here to look through the course proposal form and begin thinking up your own course!

Have you struggled with presenting your Zoom course in the past? Join The Pros on Friday, December 16, from 1-4 pm (Pacific Time) at the Campbell Center for a hands-on, one-on-one workshop. Bring your laptop and your ideas for the Zoom Controls you want to use in a course. Let's download your roster together and create an email file of your students, schedule your course, and other basic skills. Then... let's play with breakout rooms, screen sharing, or other ideas of yours. We're here to support your Zoom OLLI course goals!

If you are age 70½ or older, take advantage of the Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) and direct your IRA trustee or custodian to transfer funds directly to SOU and OLLI—you can give up to $100,000 each year!
