The open enrollment period for benefit-eligible faculty and staff will take place starting today (Monday, April 25) through Friday, May 13, 2022.
Benefits changes made during this open enrollment period are effective for the FY23 benefits plan year (July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023).

Open Enrollment is the only time each year that you can:

Starting this plan year (FY23): Newly enroll or decline medical and dental benefits without a qualifying life event. If you miss the deadline you will not be able to enroll or decline benefits until next Open Enrollment without a qualifying life event. This requires a new Medical Enrollment Application. If you DO NOT wish to make any of the changes listed above or enroll in flexible spending, there is no action you need to take during open enrollment.
All forms must be RECEIVED by the ISU HR Office no later than 3 PM on Friday, May 13. Forms submitted past this deadline will not be accepted by the State’s Office of Group Insurance.

Choice Card Form - used for changing medical plan options, changing premiums from pre-tax to post-tax, and/or adding dependents to dental plans. Please note that premiums are automatically set up as pre-tax, unless otherwise discussed; and
