Open Enrollment Begins Today

If you want to sign up for a course, please click here to access the online course catalog. You may also submit a course request by sending an email to [email protected], or calling 541-552-6048.

For a quick refresher on how to register or choose courses, please click here .

If you change your mind about a course for which you have already registered, please ask the office to drop you by emailing [email protected] with "drop" and the name of the course in the subject line or calling us at 541-552-6048. Your fellow students will appreciate it!

The Mavens Go to OSF

Prepare to join other OLLI members and the Mavens to discuss each of the 2019 Oregon Shakespeare Festival plays this September and October. See the plays on your own, either on the day we meet or before. We will meet, following a matinee, in the back room of Liquid Assets on North Main St. from 4:00 to 5:30 pm on the dates below. Purchase your libations and munchies and share insights and responses to the productions as another challenging OSF season draws to a close. 20 person maximum. The appropriate weekly NewsFlash will contain information about registration for each discussion. (The August 26 NewsFlash will open registration for Maven Con-Cons on September 11, 12 & 13.) SOU's Community Meal Plan

SOU offers a Meal Plan to members of the public who enjoy the convenience and variety of eating meals at the many dining spots on the SOU campus. Click here for details (PDF) on costs and locations. Community Meal Plans may be purchased beginning August 19, and may be used starting September 1. The first 200 purchasers of a Raider Plan or a Raider Cash Plan will become members of The Raider Cup Club and receive the 2019-2020 cup. RVTD Travel Training Presentation for Seniors

Wednesday, August 21, 1:00 – 3:00 pm

Ashland Senior Center, 1699 Homes Avenue

FREE presentation, but please register at 541-488-5342 or [email protected] .

Mike Bowman, RVTD Travel Trainer, will help seniors and people with disabilities learn how to use the bus or Valley Lift service. Taking the bus can help people maintain their independence while helping the environment, but it can be intimidating if you haven’t used the bus before, or don’t know how the buses kneel to help with access. After a brief presentation and Q&A, Mike will take participants on a special bus ride to get comfortable using the bus.
