Benefits and Benefits Guide

We are pleased to offer coworkers a comprehensive array of quality benefits to protect your health, your family, and your way of life. The Benefits Guide provides a high-level overview of your benefit choices to help you select the coverage that is right for you. We encourage you to review each section carefully before making your enrollment decisions. 

Important Dates and Passive Enrollment


  • Open enrollment will run from May 14th, 2025 – May 20th, 2025.
  • Please note that this year's benefits enrollment process will be a passive enrollment process. This means that all current benefit selections will carry over automatically starting June 1st, unless you choose to make changes to your current selections in the benefits system on or before May 20th.  
  • Coworkers who are presently not enrolled in benefits at The Center must enroll on or before May 20th to ensure coverage starting June 1st.  
  • Please note that for participation in the Health Savings Account (HSA), all coworkers who choose this benefit are required to make their election amounts in the HSA portion of BSwift by May 20th. 
  • If you wish to enroll in new benefits or change your existing ones, please ensure you complete the process in BSwift by 5:00 p.m. on May 20th. If no action is taken by this deadline, your current benefits will automatically continue into the new year.

Benefit Plan Updates and Plan Options

The Center will maintain its current three health insurance plans (i.e., Base Plan, Middle Plan and Buy-Up Plan). Additionally, The Center will offer the new Garner Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) benefit.

   

  1. Base Plan (High Deductible: $5,000 individual / $10,000 family): The deductible has increased from $3,000/$6,000. This plan is HSA-eligible and allows enrollment in the Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DCFSA) for eligible daycare expenses only.
  2. Middle Plan (High Deductible: $2,500 individual / $5,000 family): The deductible has increased from $1,600/$3,200. This plan is also HSA-eligible and allows enrollment in the Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (DCFSA) for eligible daycare expenses only.
  3. Buy-Up Plan (Low Deductible: $1,000 individual / $2,000 family): No changes to the in-network deductible. This plan is not HSA-eligible. However, coworkers may still use existing HSA funds and can enroll in a Healthcare Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to cover copays, prescriptions, and other eligible healthcare expenses.
  4. NEW – Garner Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) benefit, which reimburse for visiting Garner-approved Top Providers. Please see page 9 of the 2025-2026 Benefits Guide for more information. 


Other Benefits

Please note there are no changes to other plans and benefits, such as:

  • Cigna Dental Plans
  • VSP Vision 
  • WEX Pre-Tax Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending, Limited Flexible Spending & Dependent Care Accounts (FSA) 
  • Sun Life - Employer Paid Life and Disability and Optional Life Sun Life - Voluntary Critical Illness, Accident & Hospital Indemnity.
