New speaker announced

Time: 10:00 - 14:00

We will be joined by Carol Burke, Managing Director of Unipart Manufacturing Group (UMG), a global specialist in manufacturing and supply chains.

Carol will be speaking on behalf of Unipart and Hyperbat Limited, a joint venture between UMG and Williams Advanced Engineering.

Hyperbat aims to combine the engineering and manufacturing capabilities of both organisations to produce batteries for future hybrid and electric vehicles. The new multi-million pound facility will create around 90 new jobs and already has its first customer lined up.

A career spanning more than 25 years and covering every level of the industrial landscape has helped position Carol Burke as one of the UK’s most forthright advocates of R&D, technology and skills.
