Wednesday Nights @ Carmel Begin Oct 7!
We know that being together is important in this season - especially for our children and students. Plans are underway for in-person opportunities on Wednesday nights, beginning October 7. More details here.
Parent/Child Dedication - Oct 18
Because we want to equip parents as primary disciple makers, we have created a parenting pathway that includes 6 Milestones - key moments in a child's life that encourages parents to leverage every day opportunities to uniquely disciple their child. Parent/Child Dedication or Dedicating Your Family is Milestone 1, click here to register or for more information.
Men's Journey Groups - Coming in October
With health, economic, social and political assaults heightened, we desperately need a reminder of what truly unites us as men who follow Jesus. Every week, we will hear a message of the hope, peace and clarity that comes when we follow Him. You'll be encouraged and reminded that God is in charge. Whether you join us for The Journey virtually, in person (following our safety protocols) or outdoor in a more "normal" way, let's follow Him together. Sign ups coming soon!
A team of women from Carmel lead a weekly Bible study at Dove's Nest - Charlotte Rescue Mission's program for women battling addiction. One of the leaders shared this note after Carmel purchased Bibles for the study group:
"Thank you for the Bibles!
Oh my, the girls were thrilled!! So many commented on how excited they were to have their own Bible, and then to have one that helped them with recovery was "like Christmas", one of them said. We're praying they spend lots of time reading and studying them."
Lord, we pray for these precious women as they battle their addictions. May they encounter Jesus and may He transform their desires, and bring lasting change!
