About the Little Village
Terry Wilson, and his beloved mother, the late Rosemary Wilson, have dedicated many years to the creation of the Little Village—a replica of historic Meadowvale Village. The Little Village contains re-creations of the mills, schoolhouse, train station, shops, and interior displays, which bring the past of Meadowvale Village back to life. It is known to many around the world and has been recognized by Doors Open Ontario and Ontario Heritage Trust. The Little Village has also been featured in The Toronto Star, House and Garden Magazine, and Newsweek. Local filmmaker, Jack Kukolic, recently created a heartwarming film about the story of the Little Village, which is being shown at various film festivals. More info about the Little Village is available here.
