This Friday, July 7, from 6-8pm you are invited to a campus-wide open house and exhibition opening reception at the Visual Arts Center on Old 41 Road. Join us as we celebrate two exciting new exhibitions: Sweet Land of Liberty and On Safari with Jacke McCurdy. Mingle with participating artists, congratulate the award winners, and enjoy art demonstrations, live music by local musician James St. Amour, and light bites & beverages.
July 7-August 24 | Tranovich Gallery
This exhibition features a selection of Jacke McCurdy’s 2022 safari photographs taken shortly after the artist was diagnosed with macular degeneration. While on safari she discovered the miraculous ability to see through the viewfinder of her camera.
July 7-27 | Main Gallery
Our annual themed exhibition celebrating freedom of expression and what freedom means in the United States of America. Artists were encouraged to take inspiration from the song "My Country, ‘Tis of Thee" by Samuel Francis Smith.
Arts Bonita Galleries are free and open to the public. Buy select works directly from the artists. A portion of the proceeds benefits Arts Bonita.
