Valhalla 33

Performance, quality and comfort – the Valhalla 33 certainly checks these boxes. But it is first and foremost a fishboat, designed and built by anglers. The V-33 on display at the recent Atlantic City Boat Show features an open foredeck (without port and starboard bench seating) to maximize deck space for fishing. Rod holders are flush mounted along the coamings and console, with a large in-deck fish box along the centerline.

You have superb visibility through the curved glass windshield, and the helm is an ergonomic masterpiece with a pair of multifunction displays, two rows of stainless steel push-button switches and a faux teak helm pod.

Three helm chairs with premium upholstery and meticulous Diamond/Bentley stitching and teak armrests will keep you comfortable and safe. The seats slide fore and aft with the touch of a button.

Every inch of a Valhalla is well thought out. Case in point: the helm seating module, which holds a slide-out cooler (designed and built in-house) at its base, a pull-out drawer in the center, and at the top a locker with tackle boxes and a lid that doubles as a work table when down. The entire module “floats” above the sole, providing 360-degree toekick.

This V-33 is outfitted with enhancements that you’d typically find on a larger boat, including a bow thruster, internally rigged outriggers and a Seakeeper. With a pair of 400-hp V10 Mercury Verado outboards, she packs a powerful punch with great acceleration and speed. The boat also features an automatic freshwater flush system to keep the outboards clean and salt-free.

A sharp entry, strakes and chines that knock down spray and a patented double-stepped hull design ensure a soft, efficient and stable ride.
