SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan
In response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, small business owners in all U.S. states, Washington D.C., and territories are eligible to apply for an Economic Injury Disaster Loan advance of up to $10,000. The SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan program provides small businesses with working capital loans of up to $2 million that can provide vital economic support to small businesses to help overcome the temporary loss of revenue they are experiencing. SBA Paycheck Protection Program
The Paycheck Protection Program is a loan designed to provide a direct incentive for small businesses to keep their workers on the payroll. SBA will forgive loans if all employees are kept on the payroll for eight weeks and the money is used for payroll, rent, mortgage interest, or utilities. The Paycheck Protection Program will be available April 3, 2020 through June 30, 2020 . Read more.

The SBA is offering daily disaster loan training webinars for small business. The webinar will provide you with answers and help you understand: 1) who is eligible for an SBA Disaster (EIDL) loan, 2) what you need to have in hand before filing your application, and 3) Q&A time devoted to answer your specific questions. COVID-19 Working Capital Access Program (CWCA)
The COVID-19 Working Capital Access (CWCA) Program is administered by the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority (PIDA) and provides critical working capital financing to small businesses located within the Commonwealth that are adversely impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak. Read more.

Philadelphia COVID-19 Small Business Relief Fund
The City of Philadelphia and PIDC have launched the Philadelphia COVID-19 Small Business Relief Fund. The $9 million fund aims to provide targeted support for small businesses, which face an unprecedented challenge due to the ongoing global pandemic. The fund offers a mix of new grants and zero-interest loans for businesses that make under $5 million in annual revenue.   Read more .

The Enterprise Center Capital Corporation (TEC-CC) offers both microloans and traditional small business loans of up to $500,000.
If you need a loan under $50,000, you may be eligible through TEC-CC for a microloan: a short‐term, fixed rate, fixed payment loan up to $50,000 made to start‐up or growing small businesses. Microloan applications are reviewed and approved by the internal loan review committee, which is composed of TEC staff members.   Read more.

Ballard Spahr Launches Entrepreneur Legal Relief Program Amid Coronavirus Crisis
Ballard Spahr has established the Entrepreneur Legal Relief Program (ELRP) to ensure that entrepreneurs have the resources and counsel required to endure the current coronavirus crisis. Through ELRP, Ballard Spahr lawyers will provide discounted legal services and other business support to entrepreneurs and emerging growth companies. Read more.

Bloomberg Philanthropies and NACTO Launch Online Hub for Transportation Officials Responding to COVID-19 Emergency
Bloomberg Philanthropies and the National Association of City Transportation Officials (NACTO) today announced the launch of a transportation-focused online resource hub to give mayors, city officials and other practitioners real-time information on the transportation strategies cities are deploying to adapt to the rapidly evolving international health emergency. Need to Report COVID-19 Fraud?
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Pennsylvania is on-duty to protect the citizens of western Pennsylvania from fraudsters and criminals who seek to exploit this crisis for their profit. We have heard reports of scammers using email phishing schemes that claim to be from legitimate health organizations, advertising counterfeit virus test kits, and seeking donations fraudulently for illegitimate or non-existent charitable organizations, all in an effort to exploit people’s anxiety and uncertainty. US Chamber Resources
The U.S. Chamber is working closely with the White House, U.S. government agencies, and foreign government officials to inform and equip businesses with the most important and up-to-date information to prevent the spread of the virus and prepare businesses for the near and long-term impact. $2 Trillion Coronavirus Relief Package
The legislation, which passed unanimously in the Senate on Wednesday, will provide billions of dollars in relief for struggling industries, a significant boost to unemployment insurance and direct cash payments to Americans, many of whom have been financially devastated by the outbreak.
The measure  increases unemployment payments  and extends the benefit to those who typically do not qualify, such as gig economy workers, furloughed employees and freelancers. The bill increases the maximum unemployment benefit that a state gives to a person by $600 per week for four months. Read more.

Certification and Re-certification Update
There has been no change in the processing cycle for new and re-certification applications. Notarized affidavits are currently non-applicable, and you will need to submit within 30 days of the quarantine being lifted. We are working daily to keep things moving forward for our entrepreneurs.
