| | NYS Aid for Library Construction Grant Awarded to the Library! | | |
The Marlboro Free Library is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded a New York State Aid for Library Construction grant totaling $288,681 to support upgrades and improvements to the Library’s children’s area. These enhancements include a newly renovated children’s space with improved acoustics, a dedicated programming room, and early literacy features, as well as a designated teen area, and a family restroom.
These improvements are part of the Library’s current construction project, which will expand and enhance the community room and north entrance, while also renovating and modernizing the Library’s interior and infrastructure to better serve the community. In total, the Library has received $1.4 million in New York State Aid for Library Construction grants for this project.

The Marlboro Free Library is thrilled to announce its continued participation in the Digital Navigators of the Hudson Valley program, an initiative dedicated to offering free technology assistance to residents in the region.
Individuals of all ages can receive tailored assistance with their devices, ensuring everyone can confidently access and utilize technology. This program is supported by the Southeastern New York Library Resources Council, Mid-Hudson Library System, Ramapo-Catskill Library System, and Westchester Library System.
