UPDATES ON THE ROADMAP PROJECT AND EMOTIONAL HEALTH NEWS

Recent Survey Research Confirms the

Need for the Roadmap Project

The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) Pediatrics recently published a research letter by Dr. Cori Green and colleagues at the American Board of Pediatrics. This work highlights the disconnect between the interest of graduating subspecialty fellows in addressing emotional health, these fellows' perception of their subspecialties' responsibility to address the emotional health of patients served, and the respondents' sense of their own competence to address the mental health of children and youth with chronic conditions. These results highlight the need for the Roadmap Project.
