May is Mental Health Awareness Month!

Struggling with one's mental health can feel very lonely. Social connection and peer-to-peer support can be especially important for those with chronic conditions and their families. This month, the Surgeon General released an advisory on the epidemic of loneliness and isolation.

Visit the Roadmap for Emotional Health website for useful strategies and resources, including some mental health apps (reviewed by psychologists) and a list of 15 Books Featuring Kids with Mental Health Challenges that can be reassuring and offer connection.

Inaugural Roadmap Collaborative Learning Session

Thank you to everyone who attended our inaugural Roadmap Collaborative Learning Session on May 4th! We had an amazing turnout with 69 attendees from 27 subspecialties and 16 care centers. We look forward to meeting with the rest of the participating teams and are so excited to begin this journey with you all!
