Happy June, Casper,

This is my favorite time of year to do business in Casper, because the community feels so alive. Seasonal traditions and annual events like College National Finals Rodeo, the Summer Concert Series downtown, and our Member Golf Scramble always remind me why we do what we do day in and day out. I'll never grow tired of expanding what makes this place special and bringing it all back to the folks that choose to call Casper home.

Speaking of expansion, we are excited to share that we are officially administrating the Casper Start-Up Challenge moving forward. This spring we had the opportunity to adopt the local competition, and it's something we simply couldn't turn down. It's been incredibly rewarding to watch past entrepreneurs and businesses flourish from this experience, and we're looking forward to carrying on the legacy. 1. Advance Casper Hosts the Casper Start-Up Challenge

We are excited to share the Casper Start-Up Challenge has officially found a home with Advance Casper. We are honored and beyond thrilled to keep this local competition alive as we catalyze Wyoming start-up businesses and provide entrepreneurs with the opportunity to apply for seed money to take their businesses past the concept stage and into the real world.

It's our mission to not only expand the business community and economy, but to support Casper trailblazers as they actualize the impact they were meant for. With that being said, The Start-Up Challenge was designed for new, independent businesses in the seed, start-up, or early growth stages in Natrona County. Generally excluded from the competition are real estate syndications, franchises, brick and mortar retail, and spin outs from existing corporations.

All finalists will be advised and coached through the full process of building a viable business concept regardless of team makeup or background. Challenge competitors will collaborate directly with staff in building their strategies while meeting and establishing lasting relationships with successful entrepreneurs.

Finalists will prepare for the final pitch event on September 5th at Frontier Brewing by participating in high level, customized coaching sessions and consulting.

Applications are being accepted June 1st - July 9th.

The Better Business Bureau Serving Northern Colorado and Wyoming is a non-profit organization with a mission to advance marketplace trust by creating a marketplace where buyers and sellers can trust each other. We provide balance by calling out substandard business behavior (scams, fraud, etc) and recognizing ethical, trustworthy businesses through the BBB Accreditation program. BBB Foundation provides ethics based assessment, training and recognition programs for businesses, consumers, nonprofits and students in Northern Colorado and Wyoming.

5th Annual Member Golf Scramble | July 26th @ 8:00am

Taking Advance Casper members and partners out of the office and onto the green with our 5th Annual Golf Scramble. Join us on Friday, July 26th at Three Crowns Golf Club as we come together for summer swings. a networking lunch, and the title for Golf Scramble champion!

This year we are hosting a Long Drive Contest to kick off the competition - sponsored by Alliance Communication & Technologies. Each participant will receive three drives at $20 per person.
