This week, we are once again sharing a look back from our archives. This is another document found in a basement closet at BMO Harris Bank.

It is a list of Committee Memberships for 1976. At that time, there were 12 committees as part of the Chamber's operations. The committees were: Finance, Constitution, Membership, Legislative, Planning Commission, City Council, Industrial, Publicity, Program, Retail & Community Service, Self Improvement, and Long Range Planning. Wow!

Today, we have a Board of Directors, an Ambassador Committee, a Batavia Women in Business Council, and Ole Award Committee, Finance Committee, Nominations Committee, and periodically we add other committees for a short time, such as a Golf Outing Committee.

Senior Valentine Card Drive!

The Batavia Chamber is a Drop Off Location.

Create homemade valentines for seniors in low-income housing, assisted living, rehab, and long-term care facilities to brighten their day!

Look for the box in our front lobby - 106 W. Wilson Street - to drop off your creations. Drop them off by this Friday, February 10th! You can also drop them off at the Batavia Public Library of Illinois. This is a fantastic activity for groups!
