Nominations are open for the 2026 Donna Dallesasse Award
Can you think of a Chamber member or member business who has made a meaningful difference in your business, our community, or the Chamber itself? Is there someone who comes to mind when you think about business growth, community involvement, and a genuine love for Batavia? This is your opportunity to recognize that person by submitting a nomination.
Nominees must be individual representatives of Chamber member businesses or organizations in good standing. To nominate someone, please submit a letter of recommendation explaining why the individual deserves this honor. Please include examples of their contributions to the Chamber, local businesses, or the Batavia community. Email nominations to Margaret@BataviaChamber.org.
The Nominations Committee will review all submissions and make a recommendation to the Chamber Board of Directors, which will make the final selection. Current members of the Board of Directors and the Nominations Committee are not eligible for nomination.Nominations will be accepted through Monday, August 17, 2026.
Save the date for Chamber Cheers where we will recognize the 2026 Donna Dallesasse Award recipient, celebrate Chamber milestones, and present the Georgene Kauth O'Dwyer Ambassador of the Year Award. Chamber Cheers will be held on Monday, September 28, 2026 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at Sturdy Shelter Brewing.
