Congratulations, Renee Skrabacz

August 2026 Ambassador of the Month

The Batavia Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize Renee Skrabacz as our August Ambassador of the Month!

Renee is a dedicated advocate for Batavia and an active member of the Chamber. Whether she’s enjoying an Out to Lunch conversation, attending ribbon cuttings, or reaching out to members to share upcoming opportunities, Renee consistently makes a positive impact.

Renee represents the Batavia Chamber through Waubonsee Community College, where she serves as Dean for Industry and Technology. We are immensely grateful for the knowledge, thoughtful conversation, and kindness she brings to every interaction.

Congratulations to Tomorrow Mourning &

Fearless Living, Yoga & Wellness

Last week, we welcomed two new businesses to downtown Batavia and celebrated with a ribbon cutting celebration! Mayor Schielke and Chamber President & CEO, Margaret Perreault lead the ceremony and were joined by Chamber ambassadors, staff, friends and family for a wondeful afternoon.

Tomorrow Mourning founder and owner, Dr. Kimberly Rich provides compassionate end-of-life support for individuals, families, organizations, and schools. The practice offers personalized end-of-life doula care, advance planning, grief support, legacy planning, and guidance to help individuals navigate life's final chapter with dignity and peace.

Fearless Living, Yoga and Wellness is owned by April Waldrop and offers one on one classes that focus on mental heath and wellness. Both businesses will team up to offer future classes to help individuals and families navigate the grieving process and support mental health.

Located at 109 E. Wilson Street in Batavia, upper level.

Congratulations Tri City Health Partnership

The Batavia Chamber of Commerce was proud to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Tri City Health Partnership with a special ribbon cutting recognizing 25 years of providing compassionate, free health care and dental care to the Tri-Cities community. The celebration brought together community leaders, supporters, and staff and members from the Batavia, Geneva and St. Charles Chambers of Commerce. Congressman Bill Foster was in attendance to announce that he will enter an official statement into the Congressional Records recognizing the incredible work of Tri City Health Partnership.The mayors of Batavia, Geneva, and St. Charles, joined in recognizing the organization’s lasting impact by reading a proclamation dedicating August 28, 2026 as Tri City Health Partnership 25th Anniversary Day.

For a quarter century, Tri City Health Partnership has been an important resource for individuals and families throughout the community, and we were honored to celebrate this incredible milestone and the dedicated people who continue to make this mission possible.
