Congratulations to Sidecar Supper Club & Beer Garden

We were honored to cut the ribbon to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of

Sidecar Supper Club & Beer Garden! Mayor Schielke and Batavia Chamber President Margaret Perreault led the ceremony along with Batavia MainStreet, Chamber Ambassadors, friends, family, and loyal fans. We filled the street to celebrate a decade of great food, community connections, and lasting memories. Here’s to many more years of success and continued impact in downtown Batavia!

Ambassador of the Month!

The Batavia Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce that the May Ambassador of the Month is Dave Purdy! Dave is a third-year Batavia Chamber of Commerce Ambassador and continues to be a wonderful addition to this voluntary committee. He contacts members

on our behalf and attends our events, including ribbon cuttings for

new members.

Dave’s outgoing and friendly nature makes him a natural for the Ambassador program. He works for Chamber member McNally’s Heating and Cooling in business development. He’s also active in the Fox Valley as a musician, performing as Afternoon Logic. As an Ambassador, your dedication and efforts are appreciated and highly valued by the Board of Directors, Chamber staff and membership! Thank you, Dave!

Pace will be launching a new service in Geneva called "Van Go". This is a reservation-based round-trip service for commuters that need a last mile connection from the

Geneva Metra station to their employment site. This service is designed to be flexible for on-site and hybrid schedules. Riders will be able to call Pace to make a reservation for $5.00 per day and use the service within a predetermined zone that will target the major employers and industrial parks in Geneva, Batavia, St Charles, and West Chicago.

The service is expected to launch on June 8th. Information will be posted on the

Pace website soon.
