Happy Monday!
We wish you and your family a happy Thanksgiving! No doubt, it will be different than previous years; ours certainly will be.
During this time to count our blessings, we agree that our families, our Chamber members and our community all rank high on this list.
The Kane County Board has allocated $5 million for the CRF Round Two. Local businesses in need of financial assistance due to the COVID-19 pandemic are welcome to apply. Eligible businesses may apply for up to $25,000 to cover certain expenses from March 1, 2020 to December 30, 2020.
Kane County has streamlined the process for Round Two in order to assist as many businesses as possible. Businesses that applied under Round One are welcome to apply under Round Two, provided that they have eligible expenses that were not already reimbursed by the county or another source of financial assistance.
More information, including a link to the web-based application portal, is posted on the County’s Coronavirus Relief Fund page. A dedicated telephone number and email address for this important program is available:
630-762-2084
For businesses that would benefit from one-on-one assistance or might lack adequate technology to complete their online application, Kane County is making computer and scanning technology available free of charge at their downtown Batavia office by appointment only:

Holiday Chamber Bucks Sold Out!
Our matching Chamber Bucks promotion was an overwhelming success. In only four days, we matched $2,500 worth of Chamber Bucks purchases. With some people purchasing more than the $50 match maximum, close to $5,500 "cash" can flow to our nearly 70 businesses who accept Chamber Bucks. Thank you to all who supported this promotion with the mission to support local small business!
For those businesses who accept Chamber Bucks certificates, please remember to give the customer cash back if the entire certificate isn't used. And...bring your certificates into our office for reimbursement.

Details of this special holiday event can be found on the Batavia Park District's website.
