Road Diet Project for Route 31 Set to Begin September 30

Plans are underway to begin the Illinois Route 31/Batavia Avenue Road Diet Project as early as Monday, Sept.30. The project area extends from Fabyan Parkway to Mooseheart Road, excluding the section between Houston Street and Elm Street. Find the details here.

Got Peppers?

The Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry and Gindo’s Spice of Life are collaborating again on a Batavia community hot sauce, and we need your peppers! The proceeds from the sale of the hot sauce will benefit the Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry & Clothes Closet. Last year was the first collaboration between Gindo’s and the Food Pantry. Fire on the Fox sold out and raised $1,280 for the Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry & Clothes Closet
