Financial Aid for Summer 2021 Classes
Financial Aid Funding is available for Summer 2021 classes! If you are considering taking a class or classes over the summer, or are already registered in Summer 2021 courses, please contact the financial aid office to see what funding you may qualify for to help with your bill.
 
In addition to Federal funding, State and Institutional funding is available as well. To apply, please click on the links below. Completed forms can be scanned to [email protected], faxed to 304-233-0888, mailed or dropped off in person. 
HEAPS Part-Time Grants (need-based grant for WV residents with a 2.0 GPA or higher, enrolled in 3-11 hours).

WVNCC is holding mascot tryouts for the 2021-2022 school year. You could represent the College as our beloved Thundering Chicken!

Grab a catered to-go lunch (while supplies last), and get a chance to meet with the leaders of our College! Members of our President’s Cabinet will be on hand to say hello and chat.
Sexual Assault Awareness Month
Participate in “Decisions that Matter,” an interactive bystander intervention game, to learn about sexual assault prevention, consent and how to speak up.

Change is almost always difficult, whether it’s expected or unexpected, self-imposed or simply the outcome of a natural progression of events. This workshop looks at the various types of change we face throughout a lifetime and what participants can do to handle stress and uncertainty.

Taking Pause, Finding Peace in the Midst of this Crazy World

Living in today’s fast-paced, wireless world can feel overwhelming at times. It is critical that we hit the “pause” button every now and then and take time to relax and recharge. This interactive seminar will explore techniques for being mindful of how we feel, as well as strategies for taking time out for ourselves. Participants will also learn 
creative ways to bring restorative techniques into daily life.
