ShamROCK in the Park

What better way to celebrate St. Paddy's on Saturday than to join our friends from Pinecrest, Cutler Bay,and Homestead at Palmetto Bay's own Coral Reef Park for a "ShamROCKing" concert? It's all to benefit The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life fund of South Dade.

Kicking off the event this year, "teams" of cancer survivors, friends, families, businesses and schools will join together and circle the track, each representing a different Broadway show.  Anyone touched by cancer is encouraged to take part.

The day will be full of other activities including a kids' fun zone, silent auction and of course,a free concert featuring local bands and talent. Food, beer and wine will be available for purchase.

Join the fun at this festival-style event by creating a team, volunteering, sponsoring an activity, or simply visiting. All proceeds help cancer patients and their families in our communities and support lifesaving cancer research.

The fun starts at 2 pm and runs until 9 pm on Saturday, March 17.
Coral Reef Park is located at 7895 SW 152nd St., Palmetto Bay FL.
