2026-2027 School Admission/Registration Revisions:
The registration link for the 2026-2027 school year will be sent via email to current families on January 1, 2026. Please watch for it and register before January 25th to secure a seat for your child(ren).
With enrollment increasing and the possibility of needing to start waiting lists for some of our grades, we have revised our registration policy to include a new current family registration period and more detailed registration priority guidelines. We have also adjusted the numbers of our class size policy to more accurately portray the number of students we are able to serve in our classrooms.
It is important to emphasize that if current families do not register during the current family registration period (January 1 - January 25), your child's seat will not be guaranteed. All remaining seats will be open to new families beginning January 25 this year.

HELP US SPREAD THE WORD!
Invite new families to RSVP for a tour during our Open House Showcase and receive 30% off their Fish Fry dinner.

Our Marketing (MARRC) & Fish Fry Committees are also looking for volunteers to help during the open house/fish fry and to help Father with Mass the weekend before.

Winter Weather is Here:
We all knew that the time would eventually come when we would have to talk about the cold temperatures and snow. That time is upon us. The snow is beautiful, but it comes with some additional safety precautions. Here are a few reminders about our winter weather protocols.
- Please make sure that your children come prepared to go outside for recess each day during winter. They will need boots, hats, and mittens. If the temperature, including the wind chill, is below 10 degrees, recess will be indoors.
- The sidewalks may be slippery! During drop-off and pick-up times, please remind your child(ren) to be extra careful getting into and out of your car. Also, please do not allow your children to walk behind the cars. We have had “fender benders” in the line and do not want anyone getting hurt.
- Please remind your children that playing and building in the snow at school is ok; however, they cannot throw snow. Unfortunately, for safety reasons, snowball fights will need to be saved for home.
-
If we need to close school due to inclement weather, a notification will be sent to parents via email and text. The notification will also be posted on our website and Facebook page. In addition, we will report our school closing on TMJ 4, FOX 6, and WISN 12.
Cold and Flu Season is Upon Us:
We are doing all we can to prevent the spread of germs here at school, but ‘tis the season. Please help us prevent the spread of colds and the flu bug in our school. If your child is not feeling well, please keep them home. A student should not be in school if they need medicine to make it through the day.
Reminder: Students should be fever-free (without medication) and have no instances of vomiting for 24 hours before returning to school after an illness. If they are experiencing discomfort (headaches, persistent cough, sneezing, etc.), they should stay home. Please contact the school office as soon as possible whenever your child will be absent. If your child sees a physician for their illness, please remember to request a medical excuse for their absence from school. This should be turned in to the office upon their return.

Year-End Giving:
As we approach the end of the year, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your continued support of St. Gabriel Catholic Parish School. Your generosity has a lasting impact on our students and allows us to provide a faith-centered education that shapes future leaders.
As we reflect on 2025, we invite you to consider making a year-end gift to help us finish the year strong and start the New Year with renewed hope and purpose. Your donation directly supports our school’s mission to nurture both the academic and spiritual growth of our students, ensuring that we continue to provide a transformative educational experience for all.
In addition to supporting our school, your year-end gift may also provide tax benefits. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, donations to St. Gabriel School are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. There were many changes to current tax laws this year regarding charitable giving. Please contact a tax professional or financial advisor to determine the best plan for you. A gift made before December 31 may reduce your taxable income for 2025, making it an ideal time to contribute.
Please contact Connie Helm, Director of Development at chelm@stgabrielhubertus.org if you have questions or would like to donate to the school.
Thank you for being a vital part of our school community. Your faithfulness and support are deeply appreciated. May God bless you and your family abundantly in the coming year!

Principal
| | We nurture academic excellence while we Proclaim the Word, Form Disciples, Live a Sacramental Life | | A heartfelt thank you to our music and art teacher, Mrs. Wasserman, for a truly wonderful Christmas concert featuring songs from around the world. The students did an outstanding job, and their hard work and joy were evident in every performance. Thank you as well to all who attended and supported our students. And, a BIG thank you to Mr. Jilling and to ALL of the teachers who helped make this beloved tradition so special. It was a beautiful evening filled with song, music, and Christmas spirit. | | Our Spirit Groups enjoyed a meaningful Nativity Pilgrimage today, bringing the story of Christ’s birth to life throughout our school. The students began by creating their own nativity ornaments, then traveled together to several locations around the building, pausing at each stop to reflect on the journey to Bethlehem. | | | | |
This hands-on experience encouraged prayer, discussion, and a deeper understanding of the true meaning of Christmas.
Be sure to ask your child about the pilgrimage today—they will be eager to share where they went and what they learned along the way.
| | Our middle school students enjoyed a game of Christmas Jeopardy this afternoon!! | |
Mr. DeMers never misses an opportunity to be fully present with our students! From the classroom to PhyEd, he jumps right in alongside our middle schoolers, encouraging teamwork, effort, and a little friendly competition. | | We are grateful for ALL of our teachers who lead by example and invest so wholeheartedly in our students—mind, body, and spirit. | | |
A heartfelt 👏thank you👏 to the following sponsors:
Industrial Associates
Steve Serchen Painting

Neureuther Family
