5th Grade:
Our 5th graders have been studying hydroponics and recently harvested their romaine lettuce. Many enjoyed tasting it right in class after watching it grow over the last several weeks. Hands-on learning at its best!

CMH STEM CHALLENGE:
Our students had an incredible experience at last week's 12th Annual Catholic Memorial High School STEM Challenge!
More than 250 middle school students from 20 schools across Waukesha and Milwaukee counties gathered for an inspiring day of innovation, collaboration, and creativity. Working in small teams alongside CMH student mentors, participants were challenged to design and launch air rockets using the Memorial Propel process. Prototypes were evaluated on accuracy, weight, creativity, and overall engineering design.
Although we did not bring home medals, our students represented our school beautifully. They demonstrated teamwork, perseverance, sportsmanship, and strong character throughout the competition. We are so proud of the way they embraced the challenge and supported one another.
Thank you to our dedicated chaperones, Mrs. Kramer and Mrs. Heus, and to our staff representatives, Mrs. Zupke and Mrs. Kohls, for guiding and encouraging our students.
What a fantastic day celebrating STEM and the bright futures ahead for our Hawks!

It was a joy to welcome Germantown High School senior Rachel back to her alma mater, St. Gabriel Catholic Parish School, as she completed service hours for the Spanish National Honor Society.
Seeing former students return to serve in our classrooms is a beautiful reminder of the strong foundation formed here and the spirit of leadership that continues beyond our halls.
Way to go, Rachel! We are so proud of you and loved having you back with us.

S.A.C. Update - NEED FEEDBACK
At the recent SAC meeting, the topic of whether the student birthdays should be listed on the school's online Google calendar was raised. We value your input and want to ensure our practices reflect the wishes of our families.
The original purpose of including birthdays was threefold: to celebrate each child as a valued member of our school community and highlight the strong sense of community that defines St. Gabriel Catholic Parish School, and to provide a helpful resource for parents.
The calendar can serve as a convenient reference if a child forgets a classmate’s birthday, assisting families in planning celebrations and coordinating schedules.
To ensure we move forward in a way that best serves our school community, we invite you to participate in a brief parent poll regarding whether student birthdays should continue to be included on the school calendar.
Your feedback is important, and we appreciate your thoughtful participation. Please vote below.

Vacation Bible School at St. Gabriel!
Our VSB will be in the morning, the week of June 22-26, from 9 to 11:30 a.m.
Through worship and drama, Bible study, art projects, and active games, children learn that there are many opportunities and ways to live as peacemakers. Passport to Peace invites children to see every person as part of God’s family, and every interaction as an opportunity for peacemaking.
In a world that is too often divided by race, class, ethnicity, and country of origin, Passport to Peace is a reminder that the love of God and the way of peace transcend all borders and divisions. All are welcome in the family of God. Led by God’s Spirit, we can all participate in creating a more peaceful world.
Open to all school and parish incoming K5 - 5th-grade students.
Wear comfortable clothes and bring a snack.
Led by St. Gabriel Parish School Teachers, Mrs. Erdmann and Mrs. Kohls, and Mrs. Rosenberg from our parish formation program.
Sign up now - limited spaces available!

Seasoned Servers: Thank you for your dedicated service to St. Gabriel as an Altar Server.
As we start another school year, we are updating all the training and procedures for our seasoned servers. This year, ALL seasoned servers are required to go through re-training to remain active in this ministry.
If you have not received information through the school or Christian Formation, please reach out to the parish office. Maryrose Wolf, Director of Liturgy, will contact you for re-training or connect with you to learn more about this ministry and set up a training session for you.
