OPENING DOORS FOR HOMELESS TEENS IN PIERCE COUNTY

Chamber member, The Coffee Oasis, led by Executive Director Dave Frederick, is a faith-based nonprofit that uses proceeds from its coffee cafes to fund homeless youth programs. The organization raised more than $3 million in 2018.

Serra’s House is the first Coffee Oasis location in Pierce County and consists of both a shelter and drop-in center. Finding a location for a cafe is in the works, but will be separate from the shelter.
