We are filled with joy and gratitude to announce we are now the proud owners of 3900 3rd Street in Bayview, a major milestone in our journey to uplift San Francisco's youth. Acquiring this building will enable us to create 19 units of permanent supportive housing for Black, justice and system-involved transition aged youth.

Our vision for 3900 involves more than offering these young people a stable place to call home. We will help them strengthen their emotional wellness, establish primary and specialty care providers for their ongoing health, and build financial independence as they transition into their adult lives. We call this the 3rd Street Way!

Construction will begin next month and is scheduled to be completed next Fall. We expect to welcome our first 19 residents before the end of 2025. Over the next two years, we will witness the transformation of 3900 3rd Street into a beacon of hope for the community—a space where healing, growth, and opportunity will thrive!

.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our partners, including the Housing Accelerator Fund, the MacArthur Foundation's Just Home Initiative, the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development, the Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing, and our generous supporters at Tipping Point Foundation, Schwab Foundation, and Anthem Blue Cross.

Together, we are building more than housing—we are building hope, stability, and a future for the youth who need us most.

In collaboration with Mission Action (formerly Dolores Street Community Services), Latino Task Force, LYRIC, SF LGBT Center, New Door Ventures, Rafiki Coalition for Health & Wellness, Department of Elections, and Larkin Street Youth Services, we connected community members with vital resources.
