December 2019 saw the closing of our former location…over 15 years, we evolved from a retail boutique into a dedicated art gallery. We followed our own path/vision…expanded our artist base, audience, followers, supporters, and ultimately found our voice and mission, as the ‘home base’ for a diverse mix of creatives.

Post COVID…it has been an uphill struggle to remain focused, enthusiastic, and determined to find a new space. Reopening is not only starting over….it’s rising to the level of expectations, which is the legacy we created for ourselves.

Our former location evolved over 15 years. We had the ability/time, to test products, build relationships with artists, host varied events, and get to know our clients on a first name basis.

The challenge has been…to find a new space that has the potential for us to reinvent ourselves, enough space to work with many of the artists who were closely associated to ChimMaya, and to find a location that enabled us to rejoin the community that inspired us over the years.

The ChimMaya years was a moment in time...something we can never recreate. Our goal has been to design and envision a new space on a somewhat smaller scale, that captures the essence of who we were/are, with a fresh new esthetic.

You’re invited to the Grand Opening of ChimMaya/CM2arts….a bespoke gallery, with a curated eye on Art, interior space, and an environment that is both commercial and residential in feel, allowing for collectors to envision art in their homes and offices.

With your support over the coming months…we will continue to refine our new space, grow our events calendar, and focus on showcasing, exhibiting, and introducing talented artists and creatives to our audience and the public.

Note: With the reduced footprint of our gift shop, in Spring 2024….we’ll turn our focus to establishing a monthly vendors fair on site, enabling us to continue to provide jewelry, home accessories, and unique items to our clients.
