We stand united against any form of racism, discrimination or injustice.

It is hard to find words for devastating events we have witnessed in the past few weeks- I feel it is of critical importance to make a public statement supporting Black Lives in particular, when we have witnessed such appalling tragedy in the recent deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and so many others. We unequivocally stand in solidarity with the Black community, and the many others who have been victims of police brutality and ongoing racial injustice.

aspires to support patients on their health journey no matter their gender, sexual orientation or the color of their skin. We hold this space for health transformation and healing and recognize that the journey and experiences are different for each patient. Racism and hate have no place here. But recent events have reminded us that we must do better.

During this time of reflection, listening, learning and planning for how we can transform away from a culture where this can occur, we must stay focused. It is possible to create a better world. I have been doing this work of reflecting on my own implicit bias and will hold myself accountable to continue to do so. To learn more, To do more. To stand up against racism and hate.

We can all choose not to be broken by all the challenges occurring now, but rather broken open for transformation for a better culture and a better world.
As we slowly begin to offer office visits again, we want to be sure we do our part to protect our patients and our staff and prevent spread of disease. We will continue to offer telemedicine and video appointments by default, however, in office appointments are available by request. We are following the Texas Medical Board’s safety guidelines, checking the temperature of all staff and patients who visit our office, limiting the number of in office visits per day so we have plenty of time to sanitize between appointments, and conducting patient health screening questionnaires prior to each in office appointment. All staff and patients must wear face coverings for the duration of their time at the office. Learn more
COVID19 Updates
While Texas continues to open back up, it may feel like things are going back to "normal"-but this pandemic is far from over. In fact, positive cases have been increasing rapidly according to Austin Public Health. The daily average was 40-60 (4-5%) new cases per day up until last week when it increased to ~140 (~9%) per day. A new record was also set for hospitalizations last week- suggesting this increase in cases may not be due to increased testing availability. The good news is we still have the ability to slow the spread. Please continue to practice safety precautions including physical distancing, frequent hand washing, & wearing face coverings when physical distancing is not feasible. Please remember the vulnerable and disadvantaged communities have often been hit the hardest by COVID19. We all have a role in keeping our community healthy and safe.
