Since 1988, the seasoned staff of the Maryland Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network has provided sound advice, consulting and support to entrepreneurs and small businesses across the state. We are part of a national SBDC network—founded in 1979—that helps over 500,000 U.S. businesses annually.

During the life of most any business, the owner will need to seek out cash. Whether you are starting a new business or expanding a successful existing business, it is essential to know the financial sources that are available to you. Evaluate sources of business financing to determine which would best serve your needs. Prepare for the process of securing business financing ; identify the lenders' considerations in granting credit. Discuss federal, state and local loan/loan guarantee programs.  Charles County Public Library is hosting on September 10 - don't miss it!
