WELCOME TO THE FIGHT FOR A FITTER FORT WAYNE NEWSLETTER

Improve Your Balance
Improving your balance can be very simple. Stand on one foot from time to time during routine activities like washing dishes, using your computer or while working on a craft.

Hi, I'm Jessica Kooi. I was motivated to make a change in my life because I felt constantly fatigued. With two young and active children, I knew that I had to do better. I went to Catalyst Fitness and worked with a personal trainer. I also worked out on my own and changed my diet. The results have been great. I have reduced my percent of body fat by 30% and I have lost 60 pounds. Best of all, I now have plenty of energy.

Are you also committed to getting or staying fit? What have you changed in your life to reach your goals? Please share your "tips" with OPF4 and maybe you'll be featured in our Commit to be Fit section. Email Ted Sobol at theodore.sobol@cityoffortwayne.org.

Thank you for signing up for the OPF4 newsletter! Once a month, we will send you health and wellness tips and fun activities for the entire family.

What is OPF4:  OPF4 (Operation Fight for a Fitter Fort) is a local movement endorsed by the City of Fort Wayne that not only encourages Fort Wayne citizens to make healthier choices, but also guides them to creating lifelong healthy habits for every generation. We are taking action against inactivity, damaging eating habits, and the attitude that we'll do it "someday." That day is today!
