TURKEY AND SYRIA EARTHQUAKE

Need is great in the earthquake areas.

ORH has sent the first help through two trusted friends in the ministry. One of our friends will soon visit believers who are attempting to help their fellow Syrians. The other friend is surveying the impact areas in Turkey. He will soon report, and we will share this with you.

We have received pictures of the Syrian believers working to help their communities after the earthquake. They are providing much needed supplies for the suffering. Those in these communities are not only grieving over family members and friends, but they are also hungry and worried about family still living.

Please pray for the safety of the believers and the work they are doing in both Syria and Turkey. They are struggling against widespread destruction and death. Their own families and friends suffer as they labor to help all.

ORH has sent a total of $6900.00 to help the believers in Turkey and Syria to date. Many requests are being communicated at this time. ORH has guaranteed another $2000.00 for families who have lost loved ones. This is just the beginning many believers are hurting.

SEA HOPE SAILS AGAIN

Every time Sea Hope Sails joy is the result.

God gave ORH the opportunity to work with Sea Hope once again. The boat sailed in February to Haiti with 12,500 pounds of rice for families. ORH paid $5600.00 for the rice.

Captain Puryear wrote this message.

"Returned to Puerto Rico on Wednesday afternoon. Weather very choppy the whole trip...including in Jacmel. Swell there made it difficult. Thankfully Pastor Cherubin had everything in order, and we unloaded in about 5 hours and left. Pastor C was thrilled with the rice."

The situation in Haiti is still dire in many sections. Pray for Pastor Pierre-Pierre in Port-au-Prince and Pastor Cherubin in Jacmel. The needs are great for churches and communities.

It is the desire of ORH to make another shipment of food in June of 2023. Thank you to those who have prayed and given for others.
