Yesterday evening we hosted our third live race, with a live YouTube feed for fans and those not able to drive, for our eMotorsports series initiative as part of our Diversionary Therapy Program. This was race 3, from Laguna Seca, of a 6 race series on the iRacing platform.

Our YouTube viewers were hosted by special guest Crowdstrike Racing's Kevin Boehm from SRO TCR America series, who provided the racing commentary and drivers insight, next to Jason Leach in the booth providing the color commentary. We are thrilled to report that our YouTube live streamed event was a success with fans entertained by 2 hours of great racing with 10 drivers entered.

Our aim is to continue to keep beneficiaries engaged through some form of Motorsport in these difficult times, either through driving/racing or as a spectator. For those not driving we utilize YouTube to provide a live moderated broadcast that allows beneficiaries, supporters and fans to watch and interact on chat or ask questions about programs and activities.

Everyone was entertained to a 30 minute open practice, a 10 minute qualifying session and a 45 lap / 70 minute race.

Congratulations to Jacob Williams for finishing P1. Everyone raced clean and respectful throughout the event. Results from Qualifying and Race are attached.

The feed to YouTube was recorded. You can find it here:

Going forward we invite any beneficiaries, drivers and supporters who want to get involved and give back, to contact Jason Leach at Jason.Leach@operationmotorsport.org

Next race is 7:00 pm June 30 at Daytona International Speedway.
