Yesterday evening we hosted our forth live e-race, with a live YouTube feed for fans and those not able to drive, for our eMotorsports series initiative as part of our Diversionary Therapy Program. This was race 4, from Daytona International Speedway, of a 6 race series on the iRacing platform.

Our YouTube viewers were hosted by special guest Crowdstrike Racing's Kevin Boehm from SRO TCR America series, who provided the racing commentary and drivers insight, next to Jason Leach in the booth providing the color commentary. After some initial technical issues with the audio on the live broadcast we are happy to report that the YouTube live streamed event was once again successful with fans entertained by almost hours of great racing with 11 drivers entered.

Our aim continues to be keeping beneficiaries, supporters and volunteers engaged through some form of Motorsport in these difficult times, either through driving/racing or as a spectator. For those not driving, the YouTube live moderated broadcast allows beneficiaries, supporters and fans to watch and interact on chat or ask questions about programs and activities.

Everyone was entertained to a 30 minute open practice, a 10 minute qualifying session and a 35 lap / 70 minute race using the Cadillac CTS-V.

Congratulations to Joe Kientz for finishing P1. Everyone raced clean and respectful throughout the event. Results from Qualifying and Race are attached.

The feed to YouTube was recorded. You can find it here:

Going forward we invite any beneficiaries, drivers and supporters who want to get involved and give back, to contact Jason Leach at Jason.Leach@operationmotorsport.org

Next race is 7:00 pm EDT July 14 at Silverstone.
