The Operational Excellence Division is proud to announce that it has become an official sponsor of the Lean Six Sigma & Data Science (LSS&DS) Conference. We accept this role with pleasure and enthusiasm and excited for the opportunity to further serve IISE and our members. Please save the date Sept. 2022-, 2021 for the LSS&DS Conference. At the moment, we are excited for the fast approaching IISE Annual 2021. Congratulations to all 2021 Winners!!!
Operational Excellence Division Best Student Paper Competition
This award, open to graduate and undergraduate ISE students, honors outstanding papers in the field of lean research and practices. This award is given to a paper submitted to the Lean Six Sigma Track at the IISE Annual Conference & Expo. This year's award goes to Valeria S. Pérez, Jesus Alejandro Camacho Ramírez, and Monica Alejandra M. Camacho Ramirez at Universidad Politecnica de San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Their paper was titled "Standardization and fulfills of ABS Management System Operational Excellence".
Operational Excellence Division Teaching Award
The division's teaching award is given out annually to honor the services of a person/group of people who have developed curriculum and disseminated courses in the subject area. This year's award goes to Dr. Beth Cudney, Associate Professor at John E. Simon School of Business-Maryville University.
Operational Excellence Division Best Practice Competition
This award recognizes organizations for innovative and effective implementation of lean principles and practices that deliver exemplary business performance improvement. This year's awards go to the following teams:
