We hope this update finds you and your families all well and safe. We remain grateful, as the operations and team work continues to go well here at your Mountain Club on Loon. Everyone greatly appreciates all your support and positive comments as we work our way through this concerning period of time.
During the past few weeks we were delighted to mail out over $88,000 in Owner Checks for July Income. Finally! Generating some very important revenues. The revenues were not as much as previous years but it certainly was a solid month. August continued to be strong. Again due to COVID-19, not as busy as we have seen but certainly stronger than we expected a short couple of months ago. During the last couple of weeks, we have operated at our "new" maximum capacity. Very encouraging to say the least.
Speaking of rental income, please remember you have a signed contract with The Mountain Club in that we are your exclusive rental agent. There are substantial penalties if an owner is caught renting outside of our contract. We do check AIRBNB and all the travel sites to see if Mountain inventory is being sold. We also check with "Guest of owners" reservations to confirm they are not renting the unit, but are actually a guest. If an owner rents on their own, that owner hurts all their fellow owners, financially, as every rental generated through the Mountain Club pays expenses that are enjoyed by all owners and other guests. I think you understand this without more explanations from this end. If you have any questions, please let us know.
In the world we all live in today, to better serve all owners, we have created an "Owner Services Department". Our goal is to be able to communicate with you on a timelier and more consistent basis. We encourage that the best mode to communicate with us to be email at email@example.com

However, upon logging into your personal Owner account you are able to view and book reservations for all the weeks available to you for the upcoming year and beyond. Your personal account page also displays the current activity (Owner occupancy, rentals, exchanges, etc) in your unit in both calendar and list formats.
If you still wish for a paper calendar to be mailed to you, please send us an email and we can drop one in the mail. But, we really want to move away from doing business in that fashion as there are too many opportunities for mistakes.
Your input is very important to us. Soon, you will see your Owner's Survey on the Owner Page as well. Many of you have inquired about the 2020 Annual Meeting. Your Board is working on how to best do the annual meeting this year and there will be update coming to you.
As for your Capital dues monies at work. In the Spa Wing, the 12 Studio units have been completed for a few weeks now and the level 10 parking lot was completely rebuilt with a new and proper drainage system, man holes and parking plans. Also, in case you are not aware, your F&B Operations and Spa are back open 7 days per week.
Thank you for your continued support on the Thursday night checkouts. We look forward to the day that we can go back to Fridays but your understanding in this matter has helped us immensely in driving more room revenue for all owners.

as to their tentative plans for the winter 20-21 season.
